Breastfeeding
The Genesee County Health Department Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program and the World Health Organization (WHO) recommend breastfeeding for the first two years of life or longer. Our trained breastfeeding staff are always ready to support mothers with breastfeeding. We provide educational resources, in-person or virtual breastfeeding support, and compassionate counseling because all our staff have been breastfeeding mothers too! Check out The SMILE Club (Supporting Mothers In Lactation Efforts), a club for all breastfeeding and pumping moms living in Genesee County. Join to earn points and get free stuff!
